Peter Haberl, Managing Director Germany
1962 – 2022†
Peter, aka Pietro di Monaco, was a founding member of Genedata. He had a fondness for Parmigiano Reggiano, a good Barolo, driving Porsches, a spirited game of Boccia, and his home team Bayern Munich. A relentless grammarian, Peter was a brilliant scientist who taught us all the finer points of mass spectrometry, statistical data analysis, and mathematical algorithms. To this day, his work incorporated into our software continues to astound our customers. His dry wit, intellectual curiosity, and passion for science, culture, sports, and politics will remain an inspiration to all who had the honor of calling Peter a colleague and friend.
