Biologics Data Platform for Tailored Support of Cell Line Development

Adequate documentation and management of the wealth of data generated along the cell line development (CLD) process represents a significant challenge and necessitates a sophisticated workflow and data management platform. Here, we report on the successful implementation of a new dedicated CLD data platform, based on the Genedata Biologics™ Data Platform (BDP), Bayer’s enterprise IT solution for biopharma R&D. We present key functionalities of the CLD data platform and its integration with Bayer’s CLD automation workstations. The CLD Data Platform enables parallel cell line development campaigns and facilitates decision making and identification of the optimal cell line for development and manufacturing.
