Biolayer Interferometry (BLI) and Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) technologies are key technologies for efficient epitope binning analysis. Also, novel instrumentation (e.g., PALL FortéBio Octet HTX, Bruker SPR-32, GE Biacore 8K) allows measurements at unprecedented throughput enabling increased numbers of antibodies tested earlier in the discovery workflow. Efficient analysis of the generated data becomes a key requisite to reap the benefits of the increased throughput.
In this poster we present how Genedata Screener®, a unique software solution for the analysis of bioassay data in Biopharma research, brings a new level of automation and interactivity to the analysis of epitope binning assays. We illustrate the solution with a real-world data set using the classical sandwich assay format on an Octet HTX instrument. A simple analysis workflow produces high-quality bin assignments by automatically processing raw instrument data (sensorgrams) to final binning results in a single software. We indicate where this epitope binning process can be fine-tuned by the scientist based on the experimental conditions, how the visualizations enable quick and efficient means for quality control as well as results sharing, and how to reassign bins manually in case of ambiguous results.
The software embeds in any enterprise infrastructure, e.g. the Genedata Biopharma Platform, manages raw and processed data in a centralized environment, and makes the measured results available to the entire organization to ensure an efficient and scalable process, ultimately leading to higher productivity.
