Cell Line Development

Host Cell Characterization

In-depth annotation of your proprietary cell line genome sequences is the basis for accurate cell line development and biosafety applications. Genedata Selector integrates public domain data with your proprietary genome sequences (e.g. CHO or HEK cell lines) for functional reconstruction of proprietary genomes, including gene model validation, microRNA analysis, genome structure, mutations, and pathways.

Cross-Omics & Pathway Analysis

The statistical cross-omics data analysis in Genedata Selector allows projection onto pathways to visualize, for example, transcriptome, metabolome and proteome data over different timepoints or experimental conditions. These interactive visualizations enable scientists to identify bottlenecks in the molecular machinery of the cell to determine potential engineering targets.

Gene & Genome Editing

Genome editing techniques such as CRISPR are revolutionizing molecular biology and equipping scientists with the ability to modify the DNA of an organism precisely. Guide RNAs can now be predicted for proprietary genomes in the Genedata Selector secure environment. This removes the reliance on publicly available third-party tools, which can put IP at risk. Experimental CRISPR-based data can also be incorporated with omics-level data for further analysis.

TLA-Based Clone Selection

Cergentis TLA offers a cost-effective, high-resolution technology to determine sequence changes resulting from targeted genome editing, transgene integration sites and breakpoints, copy number variations (CNVs) in the transgene sequence, and structural changes in and surrounding transgene sequences. The push-button analysis pipeline and data management capabilities of Genedata Selector allow our customers to select clones, based on the location of the integration site, and assess the genetic stability of the integration sites.

Cell Line Optimization

Support NGS-based bioprocess development with genotype-phenotype relationship analysis. Guiding cell line optimization, Genedata Selector enables the processing and integration of transcriptomic, metabolomic, and proteomic data to analyze cell line-specific metabolic and signaling pathways. Faster Lot Release

NGS-based adventitious agent detection replaces or complements traditional methods. For some traditional assays, it reduces the number of assays and the wait time from more than four weeks to just a few days. In addition to faster cell line banking, lot release for the three days before harvesting samples and final assessment of bio-products that cannot be sterilized, benefit from NGS-based testing.

For product registration with regulatory bodies, proof of a documented audit trail is required.
