Discovering Therapeutic Combinations for Cancer at UT Southwestern with the help of Genedata Screener

December 7, 2016

Melissa McCoy and Bruce Posner, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center

This webinar illustrates how Genedata Screener® for Combination Screening forms an important part of the drug combinations discovery workflow at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Bruce Posner and Dr. Melissa McCoy demonstrate many of the software features that streamline the processes of data loading, data quality control, dose-response curve analysis, and assessment of the combinatorial effect of user-defined combinations of small molecules at pre-determined doses. As part of the presentation, they show how Screener was used in a project focused on discovering therapeutic combinations for pancreatic cancer (project published in Cell Reports August 2016, Witkiewicz et al.).
