Automated and Robust Identification of Scrambled Disulfide Bonds in Biotherapeutics

Monitoring the proportion of scrambled disulfide bonds is critical for ensuring therapeutic proteins' structural stability and functional integrity. We present an MS data workflow featuring a novel algorithm and automated data review that streamlines disulfide bond characterization. We demonstrate that complicated cross-linkages observed in biopharmaceuticals can be easily characterized and that results evaluation is greatly facilitated and accelerated, improving the reliability of the analysis and the accuracy of final reports.
