About the Role
We are looking for talented Senior Java Developers to join our rapidly growing team in Munich (Germany) supporting the expansion of our highly innovative software product Genedata Expressionist®, a powerful solution that revolutionizes processing, analysis, management, and reporting of mass spectrometry data in the biopharma context.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Java Developer, you lead the design and novel feature development, maintenance, and solving real-world problems of customers and collaborate with scientists to prototype and implement finalized innovative solutions. You will work within a strong, international, and quality-driven agile team that maintains and develops the #1 enterprise software system for achieving operational excellence in biopharma R&D.
- Conception and development of new features to solve complex product requirements
- Maintain and develop best-in-class scientific software
- Focus on high-impact customer-driven development projects
- Collaborate with the top scientific population to ensure that our platform remains first class
Skills & Experience
You will work within a strong, international, and quality-driven agile team that maintains and develops best-in-class scientific software that is widely adopted by the biopharma industry. Changing someone's life by understanding their problem and creating solutions that work, saving someone's day by fixing a bug and testing our software, and taking your fellow developers to the next level by leveraging the collaborative environment where you will give and take.
- Advanced university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, bioinformatics, or comparable on the job experience
- Extensive experience of professional software development
- In-depth knowledge of the Java ecosystem (including Spring, Hibernate, and Maven)
- Understanding of Web Frontend technologies (like Angular) is a plus
