Business Development

Business Development Managers (sometimes also called Business Account Managers) are responsible for planning and coordinating the sales strategy and business activities related to a group of key accounts. They establish relationships with relevant customer stakeholders and coordinate the interactions between our delivery teams and our customers. In addition, they interact with a large and diverse group of Genedata professionals to gain, support, and retain successful partnerships. In collaboration with the marketing team, they participate in activities that highlight our presence at conferences and other scientific or technical meetings.

Successful Business Development Managers at Genedata speak three languages: business, science and IT. They possess strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to clearly and concisely deliver messages, a talent in finding a common path forward, and the ability to effectively work with people from different areas of expertise. In addition, having experience in selling enterprise software solutions into a rapidly evolving biopharma and biotech is helpful.
