Enterprise Software Sales Manager, Genedata Screener, CH-Basel

Are you searching for a new and interesting position in an open and multi-disciplinary team? We’re looking to hire an Enterprise Software Sales Manager for a 100% permanent on-site contract in Basel, with a travel time of around 20%.

The role entirely revolves around the sale of our enterprise screening software, Genedata Screener. The software is used by organizations ranging from academic institutions and CROs to global pharma corporations to analyze results from drug screening campaigns. Your job will be to manage the entire sales cycle, from landing new customers to account support and contract renewal. Genedata Screener is already well established in the market, which means that a lot of your time will be spent staying in touch with existing customers.

Genedata Screener is an advanced software and our customers are active in several scientific fields. In order to effectively explain the value of the solution to our customers, you need to be able to understand their needs and how Screener helps them, on a scientific as well as a business level.

You will be fully responsible for your accounts, but you will not be working alone. You will coordinate with management to prepare attractive and appropriate offers, with marketing to keep our messaging relevant and consistent and to plan conference and event participation, and with product management to keep up to date on feature development. Your closest collaborators will be the Scientific Account Managers, who like you are responsible for individual accounts; where you handle the business, they handle the science.

What we need from you is extensive experience in enterprise sales, a solid scientific background, and a communicative and open approach to teamwork. Required skills and experience

  • A proven track record of successful enterprise B2B sales (a minimum of 3 years)
  • A solid scientific or technical background (master/diploma level) in any of the technologies found on the Genedata Screener website
  • Excellent English, both spoken and written
