About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for our Genedata Profiler platform to fill a new position in our rapidly growing Munich team.
You will contribute to the continuous software validation processes of Genedata Profiler, our innovative solution for precision medicine. This position is especially well-suited for those who have a strong software engineering background, are committed to software quality assurance, enjoy a scientific environment and a mix of tasks in their daily work, and want to expand their soft as well as technical skill set.
This full-time position is based in Munich. Occasional travel to interact with customers globally might be required.
Your Responsibilities
- Create new test scenarios from scratch and systematically expand our test coverage
- Expand and improve frontend test automation framework
- Improve REST-API test automation framework with respect to data integrity validation and performance testing
- Collaborate with our global SCRUM development team on the timely delivery of high-quality product
Skills & Experience
- BSc or MSc in computer science, or related fields, and 2+ years of professional test-automation experience
- Solid knowledge of Java, Python and REST services
- Passionate about recognizing risks and errors in applications
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work within a distributed global team and willingness to quickly adopt knowledge about new product features
