About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be a key member of our successful and interdisciplinary U.S. team, working closely with customers in the biopharmaceutical discovery and development industry, as well as internal stakeholders, to support the implementation and expansion of Genedata Expressionist, our powerful solution that revolutionizes the data processing, analysis, management, and reporting of biotherapeutics characterization based on mass spectrometry.
This full-time position is based at our office in Lexington, MA. It requires up to 20% travel within the US, and potentially across Europe.
We are offering a base salary range of between $100,000 and $120,000 for this position.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large enterprise projects related to system implementation and deployment, scientific and technical requirements analysis, data migration, system integration, software development, in addition to user and technical trainings, etc. from initiation to completion
- Work closely with our internal, interdisciplinary team and customer-facing counterparts to define scope, goals and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines and milestones
- Proactively communicate, document, and report to external and internal customers on projects status – prepare and present to customers and senior management with regards to project status
- Anticipate and actively manage project risks and expectations of all parties during all project phases
- Successfully close out projects in time and budget with highest customer satisfaction
- Perform monthly accounting (triage of hours and invoice generation) of consultancy efforts provided to each of our customers
Skills & Experience
- Advanced degree in sciences (MS and/or PhD) relevant to Biotech & Biopharma industry. Experience in mass spectrometry is advantageous.
- Knowledge of biopharmaceutical research and familiarity with biopharma research and development processes and digital transformation.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills and/or Project Management experience in software, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for an interdisciplinary environment of scientists, developers, business managers and IT experts
- Strong presentation skills with an attention to detail and demonstrated success in presenting to individuals at multiple levels in the organization
- Ability to work independently and as well as part of a team
- Practical experience with scientific software, computer fluency, and familiarity with general IT concepts is preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
