About the Role
As a Life Science Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by effectively communicating the value proposition of Genedata Expressionist, an enterprise mass spectrometry data analysis platform enabling researchers and analysts to streamline their analysis workflows and extract valuable insights from complex biological data. You will partner with the top-50 biopharma companies to help them develop and implement innovative solutions and be part of their digitalization revolution.
This full-time position is based at our office in Lexington, MA. It requires about 20% travel within the US, and potentially across Europe.
We are offering a base salary range of between $120,000 to $140,000 for this position.
Your Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Lead Generation and Outreach:
- Use prospecting strategies to reach out to new and existing customers.
- Actively identify new opportunities by uncovering critical bottlenecks.
- Sales Cycle Management:
- Drive business by managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Consult with decision-makers from IT, science, and business to become a trusted partner.
- Provide full solution including software license and consulting services
- Client Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with clients.
- Address and solve clients’ needs using Genedata Expressionist enterprise software solutions.
- Communicate proposals, create value, and negotiate sales agreements.
- Represent Genedata:
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to raise awareness of Genedata’s offerings.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a qualified salesperson with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to be a key member of our Business Account Management Team. The successful candidate will have the following background:
- BSc required.
- Passion for accelerating biopharma R&D through high-value enterprise software solutions.
- Deep understanding of the biopharma industry and experience with digital transformation.
- 5+ years of combined experience across sales, account management and consulting services.
- 2+ years selling enterprise software or data management applications, preferably Saas.
- Problem solver who can prioritize goals and successfully drive business.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Committed to working in a collaborative environment, working together as a team.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
