About the Role

As an Account Manager for Genedata Expressionist, you will manage and grow existing accounts in the top 50 biopharma space. You will address clients’ needs around the processing, analysis, and management of mass spectrometry data with our market leading Genedata Expressionist enterprise software. You will establish trusted client relationships, actively identify new opportunity by uncovering critical bottlenecks, consult and become a trusted partner with multiple influencers and decision makers from IT, science, and business, and ultimately address and solve the clients’ needs together with your scientific and technical team with value-adding Genedata Expressionist enterprise software solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage your accounts within the top 50 biopharma space
  • Build trusted relationships and become a trusted partner for your clients
  • Identify new clients’ needs and create new opportunities to expand your accounts
  • Develop together with your scientific consulting and technical team value adding solutions
  • Prepare and communicate software and project proposals and value of solution
  • Negotiate sales agreements and manage contracting process

Skills & Experience

  • Passion for accelerating biopharma R&D though high-value enterprise software solutions
  • PhD or MSc in molecular biology, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or closely related discipline
  • 3+ years track record of successful enterprise software sales in a B2B setting
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills with clear, confident, and thoughtful communication
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional and international team
  • Skilled time management with the ability to prioritize goals

These additional skills and experience are a plus:

  • Knowledge of mass spectrometry technology and applications
  • First-hand knowledge of the bioinformatics software market
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies
