About the Role

Are you a research scientist, software industry professional, or scientific sales representative with a desire to develop digital business in the exciting and fast-growing field of life sciences? We are seeking to expand our successful, highly innovative, and interdisciplinary business team to support the next growth phase of our leading enterprise mass spectrometry software solution, Genedata Expressionist.

As part of the business development and account management team, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities as well as expanding existing accounts. You will leverage your exceptional relationship building and teamwork skills to confidently navigate client opportunities to a successful close. You will be part of a fast-growing company providing a leading enterprise software solution for the processing, analysis, and management of mass spectrometry data in the top world biopharmaceutical companies.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop new business in target markets, as well as continue expansion within existing clients
  • Build relationships with scientists and provide solutions for optimizing their scientific and data workflows
  • Understand customer situations and underlying scientific, technical, and business needs to drive towards future-proof value-adding solutions
  • Drive business and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events

Skills & Experience

  • MSc or PhD degree in Life Sciences
  • Understanding of biopharma R&D processes
  • Track record in selling software solutions or managing customer projects
  • Commercial mindset and interest in enterprise software solution sales
  • Excellent planning, organization, time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional and international team

These additional skills and experience are a plus:

  •  Experience selling high-value enterprise software or scientific software solutions
  • First-hand knowledge of mass spectrometry applications in biopharma R&D
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
