- Administrator training: give software and database administrators how to manage content most efficiently in their routine work or ad hoc in response to user requests
- Developer training: teach developers how to program against Genedata software using public APIs and interfaces. Typical applications are integrating third-party applications and databases with Genedata products. Some of the diverse examples range from corporate data processing pipelines and LIMS, to downstream systems such as competitive intelligence resources

- Standard training: established course modules built around typical workflows and instructive examples
- Tailored training programs: defined together with customers to address particular didactic requirements
- Workshops: presentations and discussions to user groups covering one or more themes of current importance
- Public webinars: free webinar series covering selected product-related and general educational topics, for instance statistical analysis approaches for particular types of data

- Face-to-face: either at customer facilities or at Genedata’s Training Centers in Basel, Switzerland and Lexington, MA
- E-Learning: live online training sessions
- Lunchtime sessions: regular short training format conducive to concentrated learning experiences, reinforcing the software functions through repetition
