Processing and Analysis of High Throughput Assay Panels

New laboratory automation and commercial assay panel kits are enabling automated compound profiling for specificity, selectivity, and various forms of off-target activity and toxicity. They do so at lower cost per data point, larger scope, and higher throughput compared to e.g. classical safety panels.

In this webinar, we demonstrate how to cope with this new wave of dose-response data from such parallel assays and derive useful and reliable information in real time at a high throughput scale. We show how to apply the unique features of Condoseo and Hit Profiler in fully analyzing the data for 6500 compounds from a combined selectivity and toxicity panel.

Genedata Refiner Genome - Closing the Next-Generation Gap Massively parallel sequencing and high-density microarray analysis of the genome, transcriptome, proteome and epigenome promise to greatly increase the understanding of biological systems and diseases. These technologies are rapidly emerging and the number of data points continues to double every two years. Consequently, a growing gap has formed between data output and the ability to process, analyze and visualize the resulting data. It is essential to bridge this gap so that researchers can make the most of the valuable information generated by these new technologies.

The Refiner Genome module of the Expressionist® system has been specifically designed to process, analyze and visualize data in the context of genomic positions. It handles experimental data of unlimited size from different vendors and technology platforms. With an innovative and extremely flexible genomic browser capable of visualizing billions of data points, Refiner Genome is the perfect solution for next-generation sequencing and other high throughput genomic data.

Built upon the proven foundation of the Genedata´s workflow architecture, Refiner Genome simplifies and automates the most complex analyses. Transcriptomics, methylation, copy number variation or proteomics data can be either combined or analyzed separately to extract relevant information. The software architecture enables easy adaption of new methods and data formats making it a flexible system for dynamic organizations with constantly evolving needs.

Genedata Analyst - Integration of Analyst with Public and Proprietary DatabasesWith its improved modular architecture, Analyst introduces a large set of public Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that allow customizations of Analyst to import and export data directly from public and proprietary data sources. By writing small Java programs utilizing the new APIs customers can extend Analyst to support in-house LIMS systems, annotation databases and new vendor formats. By utilizing the same set of APIs for integrating with the Expressionist and Screener systems, Genedata has proven the applicability and usefulness of this approach.

This presentation aims to provide an overview of the new interfaces and highlight some of the new integration options. We discuss detailed examples using the data input and link-out APIs.

How Genedata Screener Enhances FLIPR Experiments at Largest Global BiotechTime series assays truly put screening data analysis and data management to the test. The goal to get the maximum of information out of kinetics data while minimizing time and effort, the desire to standardize across instruments, and the requirement to store data centrally are only a few of the challenges.

In this webinar we will - with the spotlight on the Kinetics Analyzer module - demonstrate how Genedata Screener® meets those challenges, streamlining workflows and providing standardized kinetics data processing procedures. We will show how you can efficiently apply Kinetics Analyzer to accelerate both your assay setup and full-deck screening process, thus paving the way to increased productivity and data quality - from individual curves over plate QC to hit list creation.

A live demo will showcase Screener's applicability, scalability, ease of use and scientific sophistication. Special focus will be given to the speed of data loading and processing, curve shape review, aggregation rule evaluation, and the identification of both problematic and promising wells. In this context, we will illustrate how the largest global biotech company utilizes Screener's features to enhance in particular their FLIPR data analysis and their general screening workflow.

High Content Analyzer - Mastering HCS Data Management on a Grand Scale

While high content screening has evolved into a mature, widely adopted technology, insufficient data management capabilities still set strict boundaries for its scale-up or implementation as a platform across organizations and infrastructures.

Turning this situation around, we will in this webinar introduce you to the exceptional scalability as well as the analytical and integrative qualities of Genedata Screener® High Content Analyzer.

Exemplifying three recent case studies with Top 50 pharma customers, Dr. Oliver Leven will show you how to take full advantage of Screener’s platform capabilities, speed and sophistication for managing and analyzing biological data sets from different HCS technologies. He will elaborate with a live demonstration on how to rapidly identify results of interest in large screens and track them back to the original images, which are instantaneously being retrieved from HCS image stores.
