Modules and Extensions
Genedata Screener® consists of six modules and extensions, an application server, and database. These components work together as a single system to process, manage, and analyze data from plate-based screening. Producing high-quality results for all screening operations, Genedata Screener modules feature sophisticated algorithms and visualization tools for scalable data management and advanced data analyses. Extensions for High Content Screening (HCS) and Time-Series data further enhance data analysis, management, and visualization of HCS and Time-Series assays (e.g. for label-free, ion-channel experiments, etc.). Built-in decision support tools, global reporting, and publication functions support day-to-day quality control and result-generation and sharing.
Assay Analyzer imports and automatically processes data from all screening instruments following pre-defined protocols. Advanced algorithms correct process-induced inhomogeneous data and automatically mask poor measurements. You can review results and interactively refine processing and masking. Advanced filters enable easy yet fully documented quality control. Specific support for replicate analysis incl. multi-level condensing for siRNA processing and Gene ranking. Assay Analyzer loads and processes a typical HTS run (100x 384 well plates) within seconds.
Condoseo fits 10,000 Dose-Response Curves (DRC) in seconds, allowing you to rapidly and consistently optimize the fits for large compound sets. Built-in algorithms for automated outlier masking and heuristics for model selection ensure high-quality results. Graphical overviews show global potency distribution and indicate quality issues, enabling immediate action. All centrally-stored results can be exported as reports.
Hit Profiler automatically imports thousands of biological results for compounds, including activities or potencies, from any data source and displays them in a compound-centric table. Specialized viewers display DRCs and chemical structures while fast filters support efficient identification of interesting compound sets. A flexible and centrally stored annotation framework captures the user’s interpretation results. You can rapidly profile large compound sets to find hits and leads of interest and to select compound series for further progression.
Genedata Screener High Content Extension supports massive, multi-featured data, typical for High Content Screening. It integrates with data and image storage systems and provides instant access to images without further user interaction (navigation). Its powerful statistics and navigation capabilities find and inspect features of relevance, cross-feature filters create meaningful HCS hit lists, or Gene rankings. Together with the High Content Extension, Screener enables processing of HCS experiments as part of the screening data analysis pipeline.
Genedata Screener Cell Population Extension supports interactive processing of single-cell data from High Content Screening and related technologies. Automated yet fully interactive, it enables rapid processing of complete assay data sets, starting from single cell measurement, to calculating population shifts elicited by compounds.
The Genedata Screener Time-Series Extension supports data capture and analysis for time-series experiments from experimental technologies such as automated patch clamping, label-free assays, or time-resolved fluorescence. Featuring central management of time-series data rather than distributed storage on individual instruments, the Time-Series Extension also fosters standardized business rules and quality criteria for curve analysis independent of instrument or technology.
