Genedata Phylosopher® is a scalable platform for managing fermentation strain data needed in industrial biotechnology for the production of food and feed ingredients, drugs and drug precursors, biofuels and cosmetics.
Phylosopher supports the full process of random mutagenesis rounds coupled with strain screening and selection, as well as directed genetic engineering approaches. It can easily handle thousands of prokaryotic or eukaryotic genome sequences, representing, for example, a collection of production strains and their ancestors. Phylosopher can analyze multiple genotype correlates with different production phenotypes, and help with complex strain ancestry structuring tasks to increase cost-effectiveness. Extraction of production-critical mutation information from next generation sequencing data is a strength of Phylosopher.
