Genedata, a pioneer in bioinformatics, announces the release of Expressionist version 4.1, a scalable enterprise system designed for groups of life science professionals seeking to generate the best results from their large-scale microarray projects as efficiently as possible.
Since the initial launch of Expressionist more than four years ago, scientists around the world have provided valuable input for the continuous development of Expressionist for novel applications in fields such as drug screening, disease diagnostics and toxicogenomics, including sample classification and MOA (mechanism-of-action) studies. All three modules of Expressionist - Refiner, CoBi, and Analyst - empower researchers to move from high-throughput data acquisition to high-content interpretation in a fast and convenient manner while also ensuring compliance with industry standards such as MIAME (minimum information about microarray experiments).
Refiner, the data pre-processing module, now features quality assessment of the entire data generation process:
+ Walk-away automation for standardized high-throughput processing of large data sets
+ Novel quality assessment methods for spotted arrays as well as Affymetrix GeneChips

Analyst, the analysis module of Expressionist, now features novel application-specific biostatistical methods:
