Genedata AG, a privately-held Swiss bioinformatics company, today announced the inauguration of its leading-edge ComputerLab, a state-of-the-art training facility available to the community as part of Genedata's educational services program. Events are scheduled regularly to serve as introduction-level training, to broaden already existing knowledge and to intensify the awareness on efficient approaches and tools in bioinformatics.
Genedata's courses also communicate the leading edge technology, science and usage of Expressionist, Impressionist, and Phylosopher. Genedata offers its ComputerLab to customers who want to benefit most from Genedata's software installed at the customer sites.
Genedata's educational services comprise of both basic and advanced courses. Managerial, scientific and technically-oriented trainees will receive optimal support and skill improvement to become aware of bioinformatics in general, as well as learn about the breadth, scope and limitation of the various approaches. The training methodology uses a proven mix of seminars, demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
Genedata's courses are intensive and comprehensive events, lasting one to three days. Alternatively, educational services can be booked as evening courses in parallel to other activities throughout the working day. Working groups are small and typically do not exceed 10 attendees. Presentations are given by Genedata scientists with a multidisciplinary background. Individually customized courses are offered on request.
